Description:At Mountbatten Point there are pleasant walks around the point, along the breakwater and up to Mountbatten Tower for some fine views across Plymouth Sound. To the south of the breakwater is a small pebble and sand beach with many rock pools.

Access:The beach is a 5 minute walk from the nearest car park. Access to the beach is via some wooden steps and is not suitable for wheel chairs

Directions:Mountbatten Point can be reached through Plymstock which is next to Plymouth. From the Plymouth direction take the A379 to cross the Laira Bridge to Plymstock or from South Devon take the A379 to Plymstock. At Plymstock turn south at the roundabout by Morrisons (signposted to Mountbatten and Hooe). At the next roundabout, take the 2nd left (again signposted to Mountbatten). Follow this road for about half a mile and turn right at a crossroads. At the next crossroads go straight across and keep on this road to Hooe. Drive through Hooe and continue on this road to the car parks at Mountbatten Point
