Peppercombe Beach

Description:
Peppercombe Beach is a large pebble beach on the North Devon coast a few miles east of Clovelly and Bucks Mill. There are rocks and patches of sand exposed at low tide. There are no facilities near the beach and nearest parking is some distance from the beach.

Access:
Peppercombe Beach can be accessed via the coast path from Bucks Mill, the path is about 2 miles through woodland and the terrain is quite difficult with an uneven path and overhanging branches. Alternatively Peppercombe Beach can be accessed through Peppercombe Valley which can be reached from the village of Horns Cross on the A39.

Dogs allowed all year.
Directions:
Bucks Mill is 8 miles from Bideford on the A39. On the A39 at Bucks Cross there is a right turning signposted to Bucks Mill. Follow this road to a car park above the village and walk the road down to the village and then take the coast path east to Peppercombe. Alternatively there is very limited parking at Horns Cross which is about 5 miles from Bideford on the A39. At Horns Cross there is a path down through Peppercombe Valley to Peppercombe Beach.
