Jennycliff Beach

West Devon.
At Jennycliff there is a small pebble beach with rock pools. Above the beach there is a pleasant grass area suitable for picnics and games and there are fine views to enjoy across Plymouth Sound. There is also a Café.
No details available. See Beach Safety Guide.
The beach is about a 5 minute walk from the car park. The final path down to the beach is steep and not suitable for wheel chairs.
Dogs allowed all year.
Jennycliff is close to Plymstock which is next to Plymouth. From the Plymouth direction take the A379 to cross the Laira Bridge to Plymstock or from South Devon take the A379 to Plymstock. At Plymstock turn south at the roundabout by Morrisons (signposted to Mountbatten and Hooe). At the next roundabout, take the 2nd left (again signposted to Mountbatten). Follow this road for about half a mile and turn right at a crossroads. At the next crossroads go straight across and keep on this road to Hooe. After Hooe, turn left onto Jennycliff Lane (signposted to Jennycliff) and follow this lane to the Jennycliff carpark. Note that the final portion of Jennycliff Lane is one-way. On the return journey, take Stamford Lane to return to Hooe.
